Cristi Preda relaunched our church as Christ Alive in 2011. Since then, he has served as lead pastor, continuing the work that Bob Canter and his wife Jackie began in 1983. Cristi is married to his wife Stefanie and they have three kids together.

Dr. Robert Canter started the church in 1983 together with his wife Jackie and served as Lead Pastor of the church until 2011. Today, he continues to lead the church alongside Cristi Preda. Together, he and Jackie have 3 kids and love to travel!

We care about one thing more than anything else, Jesus Christ. We are a family of individuals that have found life in Jesus, and simply want as many people as possible to experience that exact same freedom.

Our church was relaunched as Christ Alive in 2011 as we imagined a church that was truly welcoming to everyone - where everyone had a seat at the table regardless of personal history, family background, ethnicity, or gender and have an opportunity to grow into the likeness go Christ enriching our lives by its diversity!

What's the bottom line? More than ever, we are committed to fostering a family built around the life of Jesus. Love God. Find Freedom and Live with purpose in Jesus. And as we move forward as a church family, inclusion and belonging remain at the center of who we are as followers of Christ.
