What Are Life Groups?
Life Groups are an extension of what we learn about Jesus on Sundays. A communal effort to practically apply Jesus' teachings in our daily lives.
Our Life Groups are intimate gatherings of people pursuing spiritual growth together in 3 major areas:
- Love - God and others by growing through relationships
- Learn - Studying the Scriptures together
- Live - Serving the world by reaching out to others beyond the group
These groups meet on a quarterly basis, typically for 6-10 weeks, and study a variety of topics.

FALL 2024
1. ASK, Wednesday, 7 pm Starting Wednesday October 23. - Church w/Pastor Cristi
e-mail: cristi@christaliveny.org
ASK is a small group designed to assist any believer - whether new or experienced in prayer - to grow in developing a vibrant, enjoyable, fulfilling, and powerful prayer life. In the small group setting, believers will come together to learn about prayer and intercede for each other, the church, and the lost. One of the goals of ASK is to see every person in our church praying and worshipping God. Throughout the Bible we are encouraged to pray: "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened." Matthew 7:7-8 BSB

- Learn to live in joy despite your circumstances.
- Unearth the secret of contentment—knowing Christ.
- Banish anxiety by implementing biblical practices to rest in the peace of Christ.
- Prioritize the Lord above all else.
- Develop gospel-centered tools to navigate relational conflict.

Beyond God's promise of a Savior just after the fall in Genesis 3:15, do we really see much of Christ in the Old Testament? Well, if we take His New Testament words to heart, we must! “You search the Scriptures…and it is they that bear witness to me!” (John 5:39)
Over eight sessions, The Messiah: Revealing Jesus in the Old Testament will lead you through the entirety of the Old Testament with daily readings, questions, and discussion prompts. After a brief introduction that reviews Christ's earthly ministry, you will dive into the heart of the Holy Books that have spiritually nourished God's people from creation to today!
